"Not Cute, COOL!"

Today Carter began correcting me every time I said that something about him was cute. I'd say to Joe or my Mom or to Carter how cute he was and he's say, "No not cute! Cool!" He wasn't cute playing pretend with his toys he was, "Cool!" His new spider man pajamas aren't cute they are, "Cool!" I thought to myself, but he is too little to be cool. He just turned three and I already can't say he's cute? He's too young to be telling me that already! It made me kind of sad, like he is growing up. Joe will laugh at that remark because I am always saying how I can't wait for Carter to out grow this and out grow that, despite EVERY mother telling me that it goes by so fast and that I will miss it all so much. I will definitely miss the funny things he says at this age. He just makes us laugh so much. But the way I see it is he's only going to get funnier...and cuter, even if I can't tell him that!
